Allyson Roberts credits her husband, Nicholas, for his avid memory and ways of telling a story. She also enjoyed being around persons who are dramatic and can capture her attention and gives her a hearty laugh. Memories of her early childhood were of stories for bedtime from the living maids or at Sunday school teachers. The COVID-19 pandemic spurred what she laments as “I should write a book on you” this is in reference to her husband. It is here during the lockdown her first book emerged filled with testimonies of both herself and her husband. Allyson wants readers to see the enthusiasm she has for God and hopes readers also share in the joys of her marriage.

It’s my drive to be free to write as endorsed by several persons who have heard of my journey in life. What is intriguing to many they persisted that I write about some of these! You got to tell your story of being a virgin at 41. How on earth did you achieve this? How did you feel when your husband went through his health dilemma? You girl, are a woman of faith, I want to hear your story. I, on the other hand prefer to divulge more of my musical identity. I always had a strong spiritual background which rooted me in my values and the kind of friends I chose in life. My parents gave us the King James Version of the bible to read from a child. We shared passages each morning from around 5am.
At age 17, I first met Nicholas Roberts aka Nico who later became my husband. We belonged to different youth groups and there were times these groups met for Assembly. Years passed and I ran into him at another retreat and it is here our friendship blossomed into marriage.

DE Lime is the first story in Plenty Gems...A Blending of Caribbean Tales.
I was invited to join other Caribbean writers to contribute a short story for a book. I took the challenge, and the theme of my story came to mind after observing and conversing with friends during a poolside weekend lime.
I learned that storytelling had a particular way of writing. I had over twenty versions of the story. It started off on how we limed, who was in the lime and where we limed. I am grateful to the persons who edited and shared inspiration for the story.
I was exhausted from having to re-read and re-do my story. I had to place each speaker in a new line and add quotation marks. Sticking to one tense was a challenge for me. I also found mapping the opening paragraph with the closing paragraph to be difficult.
Despite wanting to give up and indicating that I was dropping out, as meeting the deadlines created great anxieties, it was a work I enjoyed doing. I was pleasantly surprised when my story was chosen as the first piece in the book, Plenty Gems. I am a reader only of the bible and newspapers, so it brought great joy to see DE Lime in printed form.

This paper seeks to analyze the impact of teaching music with technology and investigates two classes where one study was used with technology and the other without. It also seeks to describe the behavioural attitudes of the students as a result of this intervention. The participants in this research were students who would not have had ongoing music lessons due to their socio-economic background. The programme was sponsored by Music Literacy Trust, a group of professional music players, instrumental in employing music teachers versed in specialized areas to impart knowledge to these aspirants. The programme was conducted for two weeks with each lesson was delivered for 45 minutes.
